Resumen:
El presente trabajo discute el rol que cumplen las empresas estatales energéticas en los respectivos modelos de desarrollo de Rusia y China. Se analizarán las razones geopolíticas y de seguridad detrás de la necesidad de ejercer control estratégico en sus recursos energéticos (petróleo y gas, en particular); con el objetivo de ponerlos al servicio de sus respectivas agendas de política exterior. Esta investigación es analítica y cualitativa, se usaron fuentes primarias tales como informes y documentos oficiales de las empresas rusas y chinas. Se espera que los resultados de la investigación amplíen el conocimiento y contribuya al debate del proceso económico, financiero y comercial de la globalización durante las dos últimas décadas.
